Italian Pair 19th C. Bow-Front Night Stands

An Italian pair of wooden side chests with veneers and decorative inlay banding, from the 19th century. These antique smaller-sized chests from Italy have a slightly bowed front design, and cases house a single drawer at top with door below, with veneered wood grain and ribbon inlay banding outlining their top perimeters and down each front side post. The chests are raised upon four squared legs, with curved brackets adding support and a nice embellishment at their tops along the skirt. Please note that there have been some prior repairs to the veneers and there is some slight staining- refer to images for more detail on this piece. This pair of 19th century Italian raised side chests would be beautiful as nightstands within a bedroom, or as end tables flanking a seating arrangement.
