18th C. Italian Display & Storage Cabinet

An Italian tall wooden display hutch and cabinet from the 18th century. This antique bookcase from Italy, approximately 7.75 feet in height, has a slightly recessed upper case, with an overhanging mold trim top rail, which houses a pair of chicken wire panel front doors, with adjustable interior shelving for displaying objects within. The lower (and deeper) portion of the case houses a pair of raised panel drawers, with stacked molding trim along the bottom, and raised upon rail feet at the sides, with opening at the front with carved bracket accents at each far corner. The rich wood has a nice old patina throughout, with interior upper case painted in a contrasting blue accent color. Please note that there are prior repairs to the top, doors, and backside of this piece. There is an old interior light but it is not in working condition. The depth of the interior shelves at top are approximately 10 inches. This tall 18th century Italian cabinet is quite versatile, and would work quite well for your display and storage needs in just about any room of your home!
