Antique 6+ Ft Tall British Colonial Cabinet

A British Colonial ebonized wood tall cabinet from the early 20th century. This antique British Colonial cabinet from India, standing approximately 6.25 feet in height, and is fitted with four short doors (two stacked pairs) that are adorn in raised panels with oval-shaped, fan carved centers, atop a pair of half-sized raised panel drawers set at bottom. There is a nicely molded upper cornice which projects outward giving the top a wider spread of 41". The four doors each open to reveal a good sized storage area with single shelf within. The two drawers are fitted with organizers (see images for further detail). This piece is presented upon four turned legs, giving it a nice lift from the ground so it doesn't have such a heavy presence. The wood is a rich, ebonized Jackwood, which is nearly black in color, giving it a dark, bold appearance. This early 20th century British Colonial ebonized cabinet offers endless storage potential for your linens/bedding, toys and crafts, or perhaps as a pantry or small appliance storage for the kitchen!
