Mid 20th C Pale Wood Chest/ Table

An American single-drawer chest with lower shelf from the mid 20th century. This American mid-century chest or table features a beautiful bleached wood finish, scalloped skirt on all four sides, and is raised upon four elegant cabriole legs. There is a single drawer over a lower shelf. The decoratively paneled drawer is adorn with two brass pulls (with sweet flower motifs at their back-plates), and a circular panel with escutcheon at it's center. There is a hidden pull out, or extendable work tray located above the drawer. This American mid-century chest (or table) would be a lovely addition to just about any space and is quite versatile in the fact it can be floated within a room.
