19th Century Swedish Mora Clock
An Early 19th Century Swedish Mora Clock. This Swedish painted wood Mora clock features a round head topped with a small carving. The face is signed A A S and Mora. The molding on the neck curves down. The tear drop shaped door opens from left to right with a single hinge, in the typical Swedish manner. A glass opening decorates the center of the clock. The lower section of the clock is decorated with a scalloped base. The color is a light blue grey with some hints of white and wood coming through. The trim has a vibrant blue and some orange accents. This clock would be wonderful as a decorative object and is not currently in working condition, but it can be quartzed it for an additional cost.
