Grey Green 19th C. Swedish Clock
This Item Is Is SoldA 19th century Swedish clock, also known as a Mora clock. This Swedish clock is of a soft grey green color. It has a perfectly round head supported by two stylized volutes on each side. In the middle is a tear shaped door centered on a glass window. Below the smiling waist echoing the volutes from the neck, as the eye travels down, you will notice the nicely curved base rests on short square feet. This clock would be wonderful as a decorative object and is not currently in working condition, but can be quartzed to keep perfect time, for an additional cost. A quartz battery would then be added behind the face. The original hands are too heavy to carry the quartz movement, so they would be changed to black hands, similar in style. The clock would then chime (the chime can be turned off even though the sound is quite delightful.) A pendulum selected to work with the quartz movement would be added behind the glass opening.
