A 19th Century Swedish Clock

A 19th century Swedish clock. This clock may also be referred to as a Mora clock. This clock has a wonderful bonnet shaped crest arching along its top. This bonnet is intricately carved, and gives this piece a unique look. The arch at the top contrasts the rest of the clock's more linear, straight lined look. The two-hinged central door present on the body opens from right to left. The color of this clock is an overall green-grey with a nice lighter green-grey trim. This neutral clock would stand out as a wonderful and tall design element in perhaps a living room, office or hallway. This clock has been quartzed to keep perfect time.
