Athena/Owl Tetradrachm Coin Pendant & Chain
An authentic Greek, Attica, Athens silver Tetradrachm coin (circa 101-100 BC), set in a custom rounded sterling silver bezel. The obverse, or front side, of this coin features the head of Athena, wearing a richly ornamented triple-crested helmet adorned with Pegasus and foreparts of horses. On the reverse side, an owl standing right, head facing, month numeral E on prostrate amphora, with standing figure of Dionysos holding mask and thyrsos in right field; all within an olive wreath. Pendant can be worn so that either coin side is featured. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin. This coin pendant measures approximately 1 7/8" tall (including bail), 1 7/16" diameter and 1/8" deep at coin/bezel. The 22" sterling silver linked chain is included.
