Greek Owl Tetradrachm Coin in 22k Pendant
An authentic Greek, Attica, Athens Tetradrachm Owl/Athena coin (circa 430-420 BC), set in a custom rounded, suspended style, 22k gold bezel with 22k gold bail. The obverse, or front side of this coin features the head of Athena, right, wearing a crested Attica helmet ornamented with three olive leaves along the front edge, palmette on bowl, and spiral behind ear, her hair drawn across forehead in parallel curves . On the reverse side, an owl standing right, head facing, in erect posture, the tail feathers represented as a single prong, olive spring and lunar crescent in upper field to left. The owl side of this coin is the featured on front side of the pendant, though it can be worn either way. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin. This coin pendant measures approximately 1 11/16" tall (including bail), 1 1/16" diameter and 3/16" deep. Chain is for display purposes but can be included at no additional charge.
