Ancient Bee & Stag Coin, 22 kt Gold Pendant
An authentic ancient silver AR Drachm Bee/Stag coin (circa 197-180 BC), Ephesus or Ephesos, on the Aegean Sea in Ionia; present day Efes, Turkey. This ancient Greek coin has been floated with a squared 22kt gold bezel with roped accents about the perimeter. Surround/bezel, accent beads and bail also in 22kt gold. The obverse, or front side of this coin, features a bee. On the reverse side, a stag standing right, date-palm in background. Images feature the bee shown as the front of the pendant, but it may be worn with either side prominently showing. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin. Coin pendant measures approximately 1 1/4" tall, 7/8" in width, and 1/4"deep at bezel. Chain is for display purposes only.
