Ancient Greek Owl & Athena Coin Pendant
An authentic Greek, Athens silver tetradrachm coin of Athena and Owl (circa 109/108 BC), set in a custom 22-kt gold bezel embellished with round accents about the perimeter, and 22-kt gold bail. The obverse, or front side of this coin features the head of Athena Parthenos, right, wearing a richly ornamented triple-crested helmet adorned with Pegasus and foreparts of horses . On the coin reverse side (which is used as the more prominent front side of this pendant), an owl standing right, head facing on prostrate amphora inscribed in upper field, magistrates inscribed in left and right field, bee in right field, all within olive-wreath. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin.
