He is usually depicted as having two faces, since he looks to the future and to the past. A Roman silver Denarius coin from 114-113 BC. This is Janiform image is the head of Dioscuri, with a P on the left and a star on the right. On the reverse side there is a galley with a pilot and three oarsmen.
