A silver tetradrachm minted in Attica, Athens circa 139 BC. On the obverse side, the head of Athena Parthenos facing right wearing a richly ornamented triple crested helmet and surrounded by a dotted border. On reverse side, an owl standing right on a prostrate amphora vase with Nike flying right, and within a wreath. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin.
