Gorgoneion Pendant w/ Serpents in 22K gold
An AR Drachm Gorgoneion Pendant w/ Serpents in 22 Karat gold wide surround and blue diamond accent at top. This gorgoneion pendant was minted at Thrace, Apollonia Pontika, circa 450-400 BC. On the obverse side is a front facing Gorgoneion with tongue protruding, with the head surrounding by serpents. On the reverse side is an upturned anchor with a crayfish on the left. This is a one of kind ancient coin pendant with custom artisan design in 22 karat gold. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin.
