Greek Lion coin pendant in 18K gold

Greek Lion Hemidrachm Pendant in 18K gold and sterling silver. Minted at Chersonesos in the region of Thrace, circa 386-338 BC. The obverse side has the forepart of a lion at right, facing left. The reverse side quadripartite incuse square with alternating raised and sunken quarters. Weight of the coin (without further gilding) is 2.37 grams, the diameter is 12.80 mm. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin.
