Silver Tetradrachm Pendant from Attica
A Silver Tetradrachm Owl and Athena [coin] Pendant trimmed in 22 karat gold. This coin was minted in the Athens, Attica County, during the second half of the 5th century BC. On the obverse side, the head of Athena wearing a crested helmet, three olive leaves along front edge, palmette on bowl, and a spiral behind her ear. On the reverse side, an owl with tail feathers represented as a single prong, an olive sprig and lunar crescent in upper field to left, all within an incusive square. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin.
