Bee & Stag Tetradrachm w/ 18K gold
A Bee & Stag silver alloy Tetradrachm [coin] minted by Magistrate OPXAMEΝΙΟΣ (Orchamenios) during the ancient Ionian Empire at Ephesos, which is present day Turkey, where magnificent ruins still stand today. This ancient coin was struck circa 370-360 BC. This Tetradrachm AR is 24 mm in diameter and weighs 15.15 grams. On the obverse side, E-Ф on the right of a bee with straight wings. On the reverse side, "OPXAΜENΙΟΣ", forepart of stag laying right, but facing left towards a palm tree. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin.
