A pair of French two-light iron sconces from the mid 20th century. These vintage French hand-forged sconces each feature a horizontally placed bar, with delicately scrolled ends, which provide support to the two iron bobèches and painted candle sleeves at either side. The light bar is supported outward from back-plate on an L-shaped bar and has a bottom support which terminates into a simplified fleur-de-lis design at the wall. The black iron light fixtures have wonderful rust and patina throughout. This pair of French sconces from the mid 20th century have been wired for the US.
