A pair of French two-light iron sconces from the mid 20th century. These vintage French hand-forged sconces each feature a curled and scrolled iron motif, with the cupped iron bobèches and painted candle sleeves each being supported at the tightly scrolled ends of a horizontally positioned bar. A vertical single, flattened iron bar crosses through the center of the back-plate, with ends terminating into forged split-curls. The light fixtures are black iron with a nicely aged patina. This pair of French mid-century sconces have been wired for the US.
