Pair French 2-Light Fleur-de-lys Sconces

A pair of French two-light sconces from the mid 20th century. These vintage French hand-forged sconces each feature a horizontally placed bar, with upwardly scrolled ends, providing support to the two ruffled iron bobèches with painted candle sleeves at their centers. The light back-plate is adorn with a simplified fleur-de-lis design at it's top, and scrolled bottom. The black iron light fixtures have wonderful rust and patina throughout, and slightly hammered texture. This pair of French sconces from the mid 20th century have been wired for the US.
