An Italian gilt ray wood fragment from the 18th century, re-purposed as a wall sconce. This light fixture from Italy has been made from a carved and gilt wooden sun ray fragment, wired with a single light near center top, as not to visually block the fragment. The beautiful gilt wood has a nicely aged patina, and small areas of loss, showing it's rich history and age. This Italian ray sconce has been newly wired for the US. Shade is not included.
