Italian Pair Foliage & Urn Candle Sconces

A pair of Italian two-light metal and carved wood candle sconces. This vintage pair of decorative wall sconces from Italy feature urn-shaped carved wood wall plaques as backplates, from which a metal arm swoops outward and in separation presents a pair of ruffled bobèches which house candles within their centers. An abundant display of leafy foliage with small acorns, created from metal, adds beauty, height, and visual interest as it projects out of the urn, just behind the pair of candle arms. The metal foliage has areas of bronze/gold coloring and the urn backplates are painted in a pale taupe, along with gold (with areas of merlot coloring showing through from beneath). These Italian urn candle sconces with metal foliage bouquets, will make for a fabulous pair of wall decorations, perhaps displayed on either side of an interior entrance or flanking a wall.
