French Pair of Brass Wall Sconces, 19th C.

A French pair of brass repoussé wall sconces from the 19th century. This antique pair of wall decorations from France have been created in brass with an ornate pierced repoussage in a Neoclassic style floral and urn motif. Each sconce has a pair to arms which projects outward from it's lower section, at the top of the urn backplate and terminating into candle sleeve covers. The sconces are hard-wired. The brass finish has an aged patina throughout. This pair of 19th century French Neoclassic style brass repoussé wall sconces are nicely sized, each standing approximately 28 inches in height.
