A British Colonial Hardwood Chaise Lounge

A British Colonial chaise lounge from the mid 20th century. This vintage Anglo-Indian tropical chaise is long and sleek, having just the right amount of carved detail, it features a graceful flowing form with nice molding accents along the skirt and just before the backrest, and is supported by four classically turned legs. Please note that there are some areas of cracking and losses, particularly near the upper back rest, though nothing that takes away from the stability and integrity of this piece. Please see photos for additional condition. The Jackfruit wood (a durable tropical hardwood, similar to teak) is dark and rich.
