French Bench w/ Arms & Swan-Head Carvings

A vintage French carved wood and upholstered sofa bench. This bench from France is adorn with carved swan head finials along the gracefully curved arms, and a garland-carved trimming enhances the skirt. This backless bench is presented upon four outwardly splayed legs, which are carved in fluted and reeded embellishments. The arms and seat are upholstered in a plaid fabric, the wood frame has an off-white wash. This French carved & upholstered bench with arms is just shy of five feet in length, a good size to use at the foot of a bed or perhaps beneath a window.
