French Louis XVI Style Bench, 19th C.
A French Louis XVI style upholstered bench, with its original painted finish, from the 19th century. This antique bench from France is designed in the Louis XVI style with flute carvings about the skirt, rosettes carved at each knee, and presented upon four rounded, flute-carved legs which taper gently and terminate into petite ball feet. The seat has been newly upholstered in a light neutral colored Belgian linen. Note that this bench is carved on three sides, with backside remaining un-adorn. This 19th century French upholstered bench, in Louis XVI style, would be quite lovely as a window seat or perhaps placed at the foot of a bed. Should you wish for a pair of these benches, we currently have another one that is nearly identical (accessories #259- the only difference is the other being carved on 3 sides); each bench is priced and sold separately.
