Rustic Wood Coffer Table, 19th C. Spain

A Spanish 19th century light wood coffer or smaller-sized coffee table. This antique Spanish coffer, with it's rectangular-shaped body, has rustic appeal with it's light wood and nicely contrasting forged-iron hardware with fabulous patina. The top opens to reveal an open interior, a great piece for additional storage. Some areas, are showing the wear from history of use, but we find that only adds character and does not interfere with form or function. This 19th century trunk from Spain will be a great statement piece with functional storage for any living or bedroom space.
