A Swedish round-shaped occasional table with marble top from the early 20th century. This antique guéridon style table from Sweden features a round-shaped marble top which has been set within a wood-rimmed surround with delicately carved beaded trimming along it's edges. The top is supported by a central column which is carved in leaf motif and scroll accents and has a sectional-divided shelf about the perimeter approximately 1/3 down. The column center is raised upon a tripod base having double ball feet at each foot. This antique table from Sweden would work well as a side table or perhaps as a small center table in an foyer or study.
