Swedish Baroque Occasional Table, 18th C.
A Swedish Baroque carved wood table from the 18th century. This antique occasional table from Sweden features a rectangular-shaped overhanging top, with rests above a beautifully scalloped skirt, carved along all sides. The table is presented upon four nicely turned legs, braced with a curvily carved x-stretcher, and terminating into round pad-style feet. There is a single drawer housed within the apron, adorn with a simple wooden peg pull. The warmth of this fir wood piece is further characterized by the rich patina, a nice showing of it's prior history. This 18th century Swedish period Baroque table would work well in any room, with the added versatility of being able to float, as all sides are nicely decorated.Dimensions
