Dining Table w/Thickly Carved Scroll Bases
A vintage Brazilian dining room or conference table made of reclaimed peroba wood. This 9.5 foot long table from Brazil features a rectangular-shaped top, raised upon a pair of fabulous volute scrolled pedestal bases. Each of the bases (or legs) are thickly carved in an outward facing scrolled volute motif, which is raised upon a stacked and thickly molded, rectangular-shaped base. The wood has a nice, rich tone with imperfections and lovely patina from age and history of use. Peroba is a very sturdy native tropical hardwood to Brazil, known for it's strength and durability as it is up to 35% harder than oak. This peroba wood table, with it's impressively carved volute double-pedestal base, is nicely sized, making it a great option for both a dining room or conference room table.
