Early 18th C. Spanish Chestnut Table, 7.75'
A Spanish chestnut wood table from the early 18th century. This antique dining table from Spain, approximately 7.75 feet in length, is cleanly designed and features a rectangular shaped top made of a single board. The top is raised upon squared legs, which are braced with a wood beam at either far end, and a v-shaped stretcher which drops down to each beam from the under middle section of the table. The deep chestnut wood color is further enhanced by the fabulous old patina, reflective of it's age and history of use. Note that there is a slight bow to top at one end; please see additional images for further details. This early 18th century Spanish one-board top table, not only would work well in a dining space, but would also function nicely as a large desk or library table.Dimensions
