European Chopping Block Custom Side Table

This modern meets old world designed side table has been custom fashioned with a European 19th century chopping block top mounted onto a contemporary iron base. This unique and one-of-a-kind piece has been created with an intriguing mix of rustic and modern elements. The top of this table is comprised of a thickly cut 19th century wooden butcher block, with a wonderfully aged patina, great show of prior use, and remnants of old red paint. It is raised upon an iron base, with an over-all circular shaped skirt, and four straight and squared legs. This smaller-sized table, with it's contrast of new and old, would function well as a drinks or side table, working perfectly in both modern or traditional settings as a functional art piece.
