Drum Tables w/Silver Sun-Burst Mirror Tops

A pair of vintage drum-style side table bases which have been topped with artisan made mirror tops. This pair of side tables feature new artisan made 27.5" round-shaped mirror tops, each with a verre églomisé silver sunburst at center, which rests upon black colored, drum style table bases, with oval entwined carvings about their perimeter and thick molding at top and bottom areas. The silver verre églomisé star, is artfully crafted to show patina, with remaining glass having an antiqued finish. Verre églomisé, a French term dating back to pre-Roman eras, is the technique by which a design and gilding is applied to the rear side of the glass, with artistic detail being visible from the front. This pair of silver sunburst mirrored top drum tables will make a beautiful statement floated as matching side tables within a living area.
