Églomisé Sunburst Mirror Top Pedestal Table

This fabulous custom center table has been fashioned with an artisan-made, round-shaped mirror top, with verre églomisé sunburst center, top which rests upon a vintage carved-wood pedestal base. The gold verre églomisé star or sunburst fills up the mirrored top, and is artfully crafted to show patina, with remaining glass having an antiqued finish. Verre églomisé, a French term dating back to pre-Roman eras, is the technique by which a design and gilding is applied to the rear side of the glass, with artistic detail being visible from the front. The table top is raised upon a handsome wood pedestal, with bulbous center being vertically carved and set with gold frieze trimmings. The pedestal has warm wood finish, highlighted with lovely gold-tone accents, and is supported with a tripod base terminating into scrolled feet. This églomisé sunburst mirrored top pedestal table, approximately 3.75 feet in diameter, would make a beautiful statement piece as a center table within a foyer.
