An Anglo-Indian hand-carved side table with round top from the mid-20th century. This vintage table from India, with a round-shaped top measuring approximately 21" in diameter, has been ornately hand-carved in a leafy foliage motif, with central leaf-embellished medallion, and resting upon an eight-sided base with pierced-carved leaves and vines continuing the foliage motif. The top is removable, and hinged base collapses/folds for easier transport and storage as these table were originally used by the British during their travels throughout India.
