Pair Antique French Consoles w/Carved Urns
This Item Is On HoldA French pair of carved and painted wood console tables, with faux-marble tops, from early 20th century. This antique pair of tables from France feature an oblong shaped top with flattened backside, curved sides and serpentine shaped front. The faux-marble painted tops are raised upon a wood frame with decorative paneled apron, and cabriole style legs, which are quite shapely, with exaggerated knees. One of the tables (not both) houses a pair of drawers in it's apron for storage (refer to images for further details). The legs are braced with a cross-stretcher bar, which is adorn with a center platform topped with a neoclassical-inspired three dimensional urn with acorn finial top. The general coloring is a light blue and off-white, with darker faux-marble painted top. Prior holes have been set at rear of these tables, which allowed them to be secured to the wall, which we also recommend. These antique French tables, with their faux-marble tops, and shapely, carved bodies, will be a wonderful pair of consoles for flanking an large foyer, or living room.
