A vintage Italian square-shaped carved-wood table with gilt accents. This painted wood table from Italy features a square-shaped top with softly, rounded corners, a scalloped skirt which is adorn with carvings highlighted in a gilt finish, and is raised on four cabriole style legs, which are also decorated with carvings about their knees and trimmed down each leg in gilt. The primary colors are pale blue and white with golden/bronze gilt accents. This lovely Italian table is a great, versatile size allowing it to function nicely as a square-shaped center table, or perhaps a smaller sized dining or game table.
