A French pair of smaller-sized side tables, with cubie shelf and Egyptian Revival accents, from the turn of the 19th and 20th century. This antique pair of tables from France each feature a mostly-square shaped top with subtle raised rim, resting above an open cubie shelf at front, and is raised upon four slender and squared legs, with cylindrical shaped knees, which taper gracefully towards their feet. Each side of the open shelf is flanked within side posts adorn with Egyptian revival heads. The warm wood with it's lovely patina nicely complimented with the gold embellishments. This French pair of turn of the century petite end tables would look fabulous flanking a small settee or sofa, perhaps with inner shelf stacked with a few of our antique Swedish leather-bound books to complete the look.
