18th C. Brazilian Peroba Wood Table
An exquisite Brazilian peroba wood table with three drawers from the 18th century. This antique table from Brazil is made from peroba wood, which is a tropical native hardwood to Brazil that is 35% harder than oak. The rectangular-shaped top rests upon an apron which houses three drawers along one side, and is raised upon a pair of saw-horse style wooden legs with plain wood rail stretches between them. The table has a beautifully rustic patina, showing character from it's prior use and age. This versatile 18th century Brazilian piece, which can easily function as a work table or console, is a great way to add a bit of rustic and casual-ease to your living space.
