A Swedish wooden side table with removable copper tray top from the 19th century. This antique table from Sweden features a square-shaped top, which has a copper metal tray recessed within the top, which when removed, offers storage beneath. The apron is plain but pleasantly accented with an ebonized trim just under the top rim and at the lower edges. There are bracket carved braces adorning each leg at top side, just beneath the skirting. The table is raised upon four delicate squared legs which taper gently towards their feet and have a subtle cabriole curve at their lower section. This 19th century Swedish table with copper tray will be a great little drinks table next to your favorite chair, with handy hidden storage to tuck away those unsightly removes or pen and paper.
