Antique English Table w/Hand-Carved Apron

An English carved and painted wood console table from the turn of the 18th and 19th century. This antique table from England features a rectangular-shaped, plank-board top which overhangs the apron below which is carved along its longer, front side in a series of beautifully repeating almond-shapes. The skirting is straight, with table being presented upon four baluster carved legs, braced within a wooden beam box-stretcher just above the feet. This table has a blue/gray wash which still allows much of the natural wood grain to show from beneath. Some older repairs have been made to the table. This late 18th to early 19th century English table will make a nice console table, or perhaps additional kitchen work space, for your home!
