A French marble top console table, with carved urn finial accent at underside, from the mid 20th century. This vintage table from France retains it's original marbles top in a demi-oblong shaped top with flattened backside and subtle step out along front. The marble top is raised upon a nicely carved apron, with pair of framed/carved flower heads above the two front legs. The table is presented upon four rounded and flute-carved legs, which are braced just above their feet with carved stretcher bars, which are adorn with a neoclassical-inspired three dimensional urn where they meet at center. The marble top is primarily white, with some staining as visible in the additional images. The wood has a scraped finish with remnants of white, and a muted gray/green. This mid-century French neoclassical style console with marble top will be an elegant addition to an entry hall or living room space.
