A fine Italian pair of large-sized console tables with their original marble tops from the early 19th century. These antique tables from Italy are beautifully refined in neo-classical design, with rectangular-shaped tops set with their original marble slabs. A clean, linear skirt is held up with four legs, the front soft and curvy, all united atop a platform base, with elongated concave arch cutout along front. The base is raised upon shallow bun style feet. Consoles are slightly differing in sizes, with one table measuring 51" in width, and the larger measuring 53.25" in width. Please note that there are some slight scratching at cracks on marble, and that there are some areas of minor raising on the veneer at bottom platform, and that these tables are very heavy. This elegant pair of early 19th century Italian console tables of grande proportion, offer a sleek and sophisticated neoclassic design which would work magnificently within both modern or traditional settings.
