19th C. Table w/Diamond Carved Skirt, Italy

An Italian nicely carved occasional table from the 19th century. This antique table from Italy has a rectangular-shaped top with a large, but subtle diamond shape within its center, which rests above a skirt embellished with thick, raised diamond-carved accents about all sides, and reed carved corner accents above each leg. The table is presented upon four, robust and heavily flute carved legs, squared and tapering towards their square-shaped feet. The table retains it's original finish to the skirt and legs, top has had a newer finish. This 19th century Italian table would make a great center table, with it's four-sided carving allowing it to be floated within a room.
