An Early 18th C. Italian Table, Great Desk!

An Italian walnut wood table from the early 18th century. This antique table from Italy has a rectangular-shaped top (with single drawer set at one long side at center), which is raised on a pair of tilted, saw-horse style legs at either far end, and braced with a wood stretcher bar between them, and a v-shaped stretcher set vertically between table underside and stretcher beam. This walnut piece is beautifully aged, warm and rich in patina and history. The design is simple and elegant. This early18th century Italian table, is just shy of 6 ft. in length, with a 26" leg clearance from bottom of drawer to floor, allowing it to also function quite nicely as a desk or library table.
