Italian Pair of Carved & Painted End Tables

An Italian pair of carved and painted wood side tables. This vintage pair of tables from Italy each have rectangular-shaped tops, which overhang an apron below cared with diamond accents above the legs at each corner, and emphasis on a drop down skirt on each shorter end with center raised panel carved with a shell flanked within scrolling acanthus leaves. The tables are raised on four squared and fluted legs, which gently taper towards their feet. This Italian pair of end tables have a newer custom painted finish in a taupe/gray wash (with a light blue showing through from beneath), complimented with a darker gray/blue trim color.
