Italian Carved Console w/Marble Top, 19th c

An Italian nicely carved wood console table, with its original marble top, from the 19th century. This antique table from Italy features its original coral colored marble top, which is primarily long, and rectangular with a subtle break-front design at front and reverse break front at sides. The wooden table, is ornately carved with a deeply fluted apron and break front plaque at front center which is outlined in beaded trim, raised sunflowers accentuate each corner above the legs. This piece is presented upon four squared legs, with flute and inlaid patera carvings, that gently taper toward their feet. The scraped and custom finish has hints of bronze, blue/gray, off-white, and cream coloring. This 19th century Italian beautifully-carved table with marble top, has a shallow depth of approximately 15 inches, making it a perfect option where a more slender, space-saving piece is desired.
