A French Neoclassic style marble-top console, with carved urn finial accent at underside, from the mid 20th century. This vintage table from France features an oblong-demi shaped white marble top, with shallow stepped out accents above each leg. The marble top is raised upon a beautifully pierce-carved apron, with petite bead trim and flower head medallions at each knee. The table is presented upon four fluted cylindrical legs, with flute and inlaid patera carvings, that gently taper toward their feet.. The legs are braced with a pair of carved cross-stretcher bars, which are adorn at their intersecting tops with a neoclassical-inspired urn finial with foliage gently cascading out of each side. The table has a light bleached-wood finish with a custom highlighted color accenting various trim and carved details. This Neoclassical style French console with marble top will be an elegant addition to your entryway, living, or dining room space.
