Painted Oak Cricket Table, Mid 20th C.

A painted oak wood cricket table with lower shelf from the mid 20th century. This vintage piece features the typical cricket table design with it's round-shaped top, which rests above an inset and triangular scalloped skirt, and is raised on three legs which support a lower triangular-shaped shelf (which adds support and function) just above their feet. The oak has a pale wash atop which still allows much of the nature wood grain to show through. This cute little cricket table is a versatile piece which could function well as a side or occasional table.
