An Italian bench-made wooden console table with drawer from the mid 20th century. This mid-century table from Italy is approximately 5.25 feet in length, with rectangular top over a deep-set apron that houses a single large drawer (fitted with a pair or ornate metal pulls and escutcheon) centered at its front side. Both the top and drawer are outlined in a checkered inlay banding. The table is presented upon four squared legs, with profiled knees, that taper gently towards their feet. This Italian table, with nice inlay trim and great drawer storage, could find great use as a large sofa table, living room console, or perhaps as a dining room server.
